Whether you have lived in Florida for 10 or more years, or just recently moved into the state, it is obvious that we have something really special here. From the fabulous climate to the unique flora and even the alligators and panthers, Florida is like no other state in this nation.

However, it can take some getting used to.  85 degrees on Christmas and a growing season that starts in September and ends in May is not what most folks are used to having.  And we are still in the northern hemisphere! The very first State Fair in the country is held in Florida each year.  It happens in February!

There are also differences in homeownership in Florida, and that is what this website is all about.  The aim is to, over time, provide a single location to get any and all the information you will need to enjoy life to the fullest here, and especially on the Florida Gulfcoast.  From government and business website links to information on the unique homeownership aspects to the lawn & garden differences to the cultural events, we hope to have everything you need right here.

I am a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate and have lived here in the area since I was 16. I attended area schools, graduated from the University of South Florida, St Pete Campus and met and married my husband right here in Pinellas county.  While we have travelled extensively, all our residences have been right here in the Sunshine State, and most of the time here on the Gulfcoast.  I hope that you will take advantage of my skill and expertise for any question you might have about living and playing in Florida.
